Lakes Region Diaper Exchange Spring Event
March 28, 2026
Our First community diaper distribution was an incredible success for the and the families we serve across the Lakes Region. During the event, we supported 25 families, helping provide essential diapering supplies for approximately 40 children, including 8 expecting families preparing to welcome new babies. The response from the community was overwhelmingly positive, and it reinforced just how significant the need for diaper support is in our region. Families were not only able to receive diapers, but many also left feeling seen, supported, and connected to local resources and community care. Beyond the numbers, the event highlighted the impact a grassroots, community-driven organization can have in a short amount of time. Through donations, volunteers, local partnerships, and community support, we were able to distribute thousands of diapers to families who may otherwise have had to choose between purchasing diapers and paying for other basic necessities. The event also helped expand awareness of diaper need in the Lakes Region and strengthened relationships with community partners, donors, and local families. Many families shared how meaningful it was to have access to judgment-free support that is open to all families regardless of income or circumstance. This success has motivated us even more as we continue growing our mission to ensure every baby in the Lakes Region has access to clean diapers and every parent knows they are not alone.
